Titan Company Ltd is India's leading producer of watches and the world's fifth largest wrist watch manufacturer. The company operates in four main segments: Watches and Wearables, Jewellery, Eyewear, and Others. It produces watches under brands like Titan, Fastrack, Sonata, and others, and jewellery under the Tanishq brand. Titan has diversified into areas such as wearables, eyewear, fragrances, and Indian dress wear. As of December 2020, Titan's retail network included 1,854 stores across 292 towns, covering over 2.4 million sq.ft. of retail space. The company was established in 1984 as a joint venture between the Tata Group and TIDCO. Titan has expanded internationally and has subsidiaries in various countries. The company is known for its innovation in product design and retail strategies, and has won numerous awards for its performance and brand value.
