JSW Steel Ltd is an integrated steel manufacturer in India with a capacity of 28 million tonnes per annum across facilities in India and the USA. The company produces a wide range of steel products including hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanized, pre-painted, TMT rebars, wire rods, and special steel. JSW Steel's largest plant is in Vijayanagar, Karnataka, with a 28.5 MTPA capacity. The company has expanded through acquisitions and joint ventures, including Bhushan Power and Steel Ltd and Asian Colour Coated Ispat Ltd. JSW Steel has invested in renewable energy, commissioning a 225 MW solar plant in Vijayanagar. The company sources 43% of its iron ore from captive mines and has expanded its production capabilities, including new pellet plants and coated steel lines. JSW Steel serves multiple brands with its steel products and has subsidiaries in the USA and other countries.
