Indraprastha Gas Ltd. is a City Gas Distribution Company operating in various regions of India, including Delhi NCR and several other districts. Established in 1998 as a joint venture between GAIL and Bharat Petroleum Corporation, the company distributes natural gas to domestic, transport, commercial, and industrial consumers. It offers Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) services, continuously expanding its network of CNG stations and PNG connections. The company has also ventured into solar power installations and formed a joint venture called IGL Genesis Technologies Limited. As of 2023, Indraprastha Gas operates 792 CNG stations with a compression capacity of 97 lacs kgs per day and serves over 16.85 lakh PNG connections across its operational areas.
