Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited (AHEL) is a leading private healthcare provider in Asia. It operates a network of hospitals, pharmacies, primary care clinics, and diagnostic centers. As of March 31, 2023, AHEL had a capacity of 9,957 beds across 70 hospitals in India and overseas. This includes 8,544 beds in 43 owned hospitals, 305 beds in 11 cradles, 257 beds in 11 day care/short surgical stay centers, and 851 beds in 5 hospitals operated through management contracts. The company has expanded through acquisitions, joint ventures, and new facility launches. AHEL has also diversified into health insurance, retail pharmacy, and digital healthcare platforms. The company has undergone various corporate restructurings to optimize its business operations across different healthcare segments.
