IDFC First Bank Limited is a universal bank headquartered in Mumbai, India. It was granted approval by the Reserve Bank of India in 2014 and began operations in 2015. The bank provides a wide range of banking and financial services, including retail banking, wholesale banking, digital banking, and treasury operations. IDFC First Bank has a national presence with 944 branches, 754 Corporate Business Correspondent branches, and 1,164 ATMs across India as of March 31, 2024. The bank offers corporate banking, trade finance, treasury products, SME banking, wealth management, NRI banking, and other financial services. It has expanded its retail lending operations and built a diverse customer base. The bank has undergone mergers and acquisitions, including the amalgamation with Capital First in 2018 and the recent merger with IDFC Limited in 2023-24.
