Adani Power Ltd is India's largest private thermal power producer with a total power generation capacity of 15,250 MW, including 15,210 MW of thermal power and 40 MW of solar power. The company operates power plants in multiple locations across India, including Bitta, Mundra, Kawai, Tiroda, Udupi, Raipur, and Raigarh. Adani Power sells electricity through various agreements, including long-term Power Purchase Agreements, medium-term PPAs, short-term PPAs, and on a merchant basis. The company is also involved in power trading and investment activities. A subsidiary, Adani Power Jharkhand Ltd, is developing a 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical power project in Jharkhand to supply power to Bangladesh. Adani Power has expanded through acquisitions and new project developments, including the recent commissioning of its Godda Ultrasupercritical Power Plant and a Hybrid Solar-Wind Project in Rajasthan.
