Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited is an Indian health insurance provider incorporated in 2005. It offers retail health, group health, personal accident, and travel insurance products through agents, brokers, online channels, and bancassurance partnerships. The company has a 15.35% market share in FY2021-22 and operates a network of over 12,820 hospitals. Star Health went public in December 2021 with a Rs 6400-crore IPO. As of 2022-23, the company has expanded its distribution network to 835 branches across 25 states and 5 Union Territories in India, serving individuals, families, and corporates in the middle market segment.
