ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between ICICI Bank Limited and Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited, incorporated in 2000. It provides life insurance, pensions, and health insurance products to individuals and groups in India. The company offers various products including non-linked insurance savings plans, protection plans, and unit-linked insurance plans. It distributes its products through individual agents, corporate agents, banks, brokers, and its proprietary sales force. As of March 31, 2023, the company operates through 471 offices in 408 locations. ICICI Prudential Life Insurance is listed on Indian stock exchanges and is one of the largest fund managers in India with total assets under management of Rs. 2,404.92 billion as of March 31, 2022. The company reported a new business premium of Rs.169.22 billion in FY2023 and settled over 246,273 mortality claims amounting to Rs 38.51 billion with high claim settlement ratios.
