Usha Martin Limited is an India-based specialty steel wire rope solutions provider and manufacturer of wires, low relaxation prestressed concrete steel strand (LRPC), end-fitments, accessories, and related services. The company operates in two main segments: Wire and Wire Ropes, and Others. The Wire and Wire Ropes segment manufactures and sells steel wires, strands, wire ropes, cord, accessories, and wire drawing machinery. The Others segment produces jelly filled and optical fiber telecommunication cables. Usha Martin has manufacturing facilities in India, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Dubai. The company offers various types of wire ropes for industries such as crane, mining, elevator, oil and offshore, fishing, general engineering, aerial transportation, structural, and conveyor applications. Their product range also includes different types of LRPC strands. In 2019, Usha Martin sold its Steel Business Undertaking, which included steel manufacturing facilities, iron ore mine, coal mine, and captive power plants.
