Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) is an Indian shipping company established in 1950. It operates in four segments: Liner, Bulk, Tanker, and Technical & Offshore services. SCI's fleet includes bulk carriers, crude oil tankers, product tankers, container vessels, passenger-cum-cargo vessels, LPG carriers, and offshore supply vessels. The company provides services such as break-bulk and container transport, dry bulk carrying, crude and product carrying, gas carrying, offshore vessel operations, technical consultancy, and management of passenger and research vessels. SCI also manages vessels for various government departments and organizations. The company has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and London. In recent years, SCI has expanded into LNG transportation through joint ventures, entered the inland waterways sector, and provides technical consultancy services to government entities. As of March 31, 2022, SCI's fleet consisted of 59 vessels with a total capacity of 5.311 million DWT.
