Rainbow Children's Medicare Limited is a leading chain of multi-specialty pediatric, obstetrics, and gynecology hospitals in India. Originally incorporated in 1998, it operates 16 hospitals and three clinics across six cities, with a total bed capacity of 1,655. The company specializes in pediatric services, including newborn and pediatric intensive care, multi-specialty services, and quaternary care, as well as obstetrics and gynecology services. Founded by Dr. Ramesh Kancharla, Rainbow follows a full-time, exclusive doctor-led model of healthcare delivery. The company expanded its services over the years, establishing hospitals in various cities and introducing new specialties. In 2022, Rainbow completed an Initial Public Offering and its shares were listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited. The company also offers post-graduate DNB and fellowship programs in pediatrics.
