Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited is an Indian company primarily engaged in the production and marketing of fertilizers and agri-inputs. The company operates three urea manufacturing plants in Gadepan, Rajasthan, with a total annual production capacity of about 3.4 million metric tons. It also markets other fertilizers and agri-inputs such as Di-Ammonium Phosphate, Muriate of Potash, NPK fertilizers, and crop protection chemicals. The company serves farmers in multiple states across northern, eastern, central, and western India, with a strong presence in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Chambal Fertilisers has diversified its operations over the years, including ventures into software and shipping, though it has since divested some of these interests to focus on its core fertilizer business. The company is currently implementing a new urea plant project at Gadepan, which is expected to increase its production capacity significantly.
